Trapper John, MD was an American medical drama created by Richard Hooker for NBC. It ran for seven seasons.
Several years after leaving Korea, Dr John "Trapper" McIntyre (Pernell Roberts) has given up on fighting the system and become chief of surgery at San Francisco General Hospital. There he cares for patients alongside colleagues like the young Dr "Gonzo" Gates (Gregory Harrison) and the pompous Stanley Riverside II (Charles Siebert).
