The Middle is an American sitcom created by Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline. It ran on ABC from September 30, 2009 to May 22, 2018 for 9 seasons.
Synopsis[]
The series focuses on The Hecks, a middle-class family living in midwest Orson, Indiana, primarily narrated by Frankie Heck, a lazy but well-meaning mother trying her best to raise her children right. Other members of the family include Mike Heck, a typical man who loves drinking beer and watching football; Axl Heck, a typical lazy and underachieving teenager who strives for popularity; Sue Heck, a dorky teen girl who tries everything and never gives up; and Brick Heck, a kid who loves to read and often gets ignored by his family.
