Star Trek: Voyager is an American science fiction series created by Rick Berman, Michael Piller and Jeri Taylor for UPN. It ran from January 16, 1995 to May 23, 2001 for seven seasons. It is a spin-off Star Trek.
Series summary[]
While on a mission to capture a ship piloted by members of the Maquis, a rebel force that has broken away from Starfleet, Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and her crew find themselves transported 70,000 light years from home by a strange force. There, they find the Maquis ship and decide to work with them to make the seven-year-long journey home. Characters aboard the starship Voyager include a Vulcan, Tuvok (Tim Russ); Maquis first officer Chakotay (Robert Beltran); a hologram doctor (Robert Picardo) and, later, a member of the Borg collective, Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan).
