Public Morals is an American police sitcom created by Steven Boccho and Jay Tarses for CBS. It was canceled after one episode was aired on October 30, 1996 with 12 unaired episodes.

Series summary Edit

A short-lived series about police officers in a New York vice unit, the series was received poorly by some critics, who cited vulgar language and humour based on racial stereotypes as reasons for concern.

Westphall connection in Public MoralsEdit

John Irvin (Bill Brochtrup), a recurring character in NYPD Blue, became a regular on Public Morals. After this series was canceled, he returned to NYPD Blue.
