Medical Investigation is an American medical drama series created by Jason Horwitch for NBC. It ran from September 9, 2004 to March 25, 2005 for one season.
Series summary Edit
The series focuses on an elite team of medical experts from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) who investigate dangerous threats to public health, such as outbreaks of dangerous diseases. The team were composed of leader Dr Stephen Connor (Neal McDonough), a former army captain whose career has separated him from his family; Dr Natalie Durant (Kelli Williams), the second-in-command; Dr Miles McCabe (Christopher Gorham), the youngest member of the team; Frank Powell (Troy Winbush), a medical investigator; and Eva Rossi (Anna Belknap), whose role is to stop the team's investigations causing public panic.

A crossover story involving an outbreak of a dangerous disease began in Third Watch "In the Family Way" and concluded in Medical Investigation "Half Life". Detective Faith Yokas, Carlos Nieto, and Holly Levine from Third Watch appeared in the "Half Life".
