Westphall connections in JAG[]

  • Councilwoman DeLong from the series In the Heat of the Night is mentioned in "The Court-Martial of Sara Gilbert" as being a Congresswoman by Bobbi Latham. Anne-Marie Johnson who played Bobbi Latham in JAG had previously starred in In the Heat of the Night, so this is a clear connection between the two series.
  • In "Angels 30", among the squadron badges in the wardroom of the USS Coral Sea is that of the fictional Angry Angels squadron from Space: Above and Beyond.

Westphall connections to JAG[]

  • Edward Sheffield from First Monday joined the series as the Secretary of the Navy.

Disputed Westphall connection in JAG[]

JAG "Vanished" used stock footage of Oceanic Airlines from the film Executive Decision not the logo featured in Lost.
